In the late 1990s, I closed down my hobby shop but I kept a bunch of model kits. One of them was this 1886 Benz. I have been building model kits since 1956 and have a large collection. I figured I should add the first car built.

The kit is a Minicraft model, # 11205 and was issued back in 1996. It's in 1:16th scale. The Skill Level is 3 but it's not hard to assemble.

I added the yellow paint highlights to the wheels. The kit, to my understanding, it no longer being issued. However, you can still find them on eBay and other sites.

I believe this to be a discontinued kit.
